The New Balance KAWHI II “Goosebumps” Celebrates Kawhi’s Favorite Book Series

Scary hours are upon us. 

New Balance is teaming up with a childhood classic the latest colorway of the NB KAWHI II, releasing exclusively at Foot Locker this month.

The upcoming New Balance KAWHI II “Goosebumps” takes inspiration from R.L. Stein’s iconic book series. The collaborative colorway combines black, orange, and green, inspired by the book’s signature slime motif. Design cues such as a slimy eyelet pattern and box logo match the dripping Goosebumps title font. The shoe also features spooky ghosted tonal graphics that draw from iconic moments from the book and a scarecrow sporting a #2 jersey.

“One of the most exciting things about working with the New Balance design team is that they give me creative freedom,” Kawhi Leonard said. “Goosebumps was one of my favorite books growing up, so to see that on my own shoe is awesome. I canâ€t wait to see people in this shoe.”

The New Balance KAWHI II “Goosebumps” releases exclusively at Foot Locker, Inc. for $160 (men’s) and $140 (grade school on April 22 at Foot Locker and Champs Sports. Additionally, the collection also features two different tees inspired by Kawhiâ€s ability to turn into a beast on the court and feature his own “Goosebumps” cover art on the back. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
