The New Balance TWO WXY V2 Enhances Player Performance

New Balance continues to excel on the hardwood. From the KAWHI 2 to adding stars to its roster like Zach LaVine, the Boston-based brand has momentum on its side.

New Balance is already looking to start next season with a band as its TWO WXY silhouette receives an update. The upcoming New Balance TWO WXY V2 features Fitweave Light, a lightweight woven textile that provides an adaptive stretch and support, a FuelCell Foam midsole for the ultimate underfoot response, and proprietary Abzorb DRS (Dynamic Response System) for improved cushioning.

“We’re really excited about the innovative technology packed into this performance basketball shoe,” said GM of New Balance Basketball and Lifestyle Concepts Trent Casper. “Our goal was to build off of the TWO WXY we know and love and create a new, dynamic performance-driven shoe, under the FuelCell platform, that provides our athletes with the tools to perform at the highest level.”

The New Balance TWO WXY V2 releases for $130 on May 27 at NewBalance.com and select retailers. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
