After teasing fans with PE colorways since last year, the Book 1 has finally started to hit shelves, and the colorways have not disappointed. As the name suggests, each Book 1 tells a story about Devin Booker’s style, lifestyle, and on-court demeanor. The latest chapter in the Book 1 series takes us back to Phoenix and its beautiful desert landscape with a “Hike” colorway. The story reflects Booker’s favorite Arizona trails with Dark Stucco, Clay Orange, and Light Silver. The materials blend together a desert-inspired faux snakeskin and a canvas material consistent with Booker’s signature workwear wardrobe.
On the court, the Book 1 equips one of the world’s best scorers with support, responsiveness, and traction. A top-loaded midfoot strong plastic shank helps keep your foot stable, while a plastic sidewall cage adds more stability. For Booker’s quick movements, a multidirectional, Herringbone-like pattern gives him sticky traction. And for ultimate comfort and support, full-length foam ensures he can give it his all for 48 minutes a night.
