The Nike Air Max 1 Crepe “Hemp” is Rereleasing After 2004 Debut

The Nike Air Max 1 revolutionized the game in 1987 as its window gave the world a look at Air like never before. As the iconic silhouette celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2022, the Swoosh has big plans for one of Tinker Hatfield’s most legendary designs.

The Nike Air Max 1 Crepe “Hemp” is set to return in 2022 after its original release in 2004. The earth-toned sneaker with its eye-catching addition of a vibrant aqua blue made the colorway a cult classic. Now, Nike is bringing back the colorway for those who missed out to enjoy. The colorway combines a birch, gulf blue, and mushroom color combination, built with a hemp burlap fabric on its upper paired. The shoe’s tan leather overlays, brown suede mudguards, aqua blue Swoosh, white outsole, and its signature gum outsole bring the shoe together.

A release date for the Nike Air Max 1 Crepe “Hemp” has not been confirmed. However, we expect the pair to release on SNKRS and select retailers. A price point has not been announced either. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
