The Nike Air Max 1 celebrates its 35th anniversary. For the festivities, the Swoosh has plans for the Air Max 1.
Initially released in 1987, the Air Max 1 changed the game — like nearly every Tinker Hatfield sneaker design. Three and a half decades after its debut and the Air Max 1 continues to be a focal point for the brand. Nike is releasing an all-new Air Max 1 that derives from past collaborations and in-line colorways.
The “Safari” theme has been a mainstay for Nike, especially within the Air Max line. To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1, a new edition of the Nike Air Max 1 “Safari” is releasing soon. Dressed in a primarily earthy cobblestone hue, the pair features leopard-print-like overlays along with blue & yellow details.
A release date for the Nike Air Max 1 “Safari” has not been announced. However, we expect the pair to release for $160 on SNKRS and select retailers in the upcoming weeks. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
