Nike Air Max 1 “Sport Red” Comes in Kids’ Size

If you couldnâ€t get your little one a pair of the Nike Air Max 1 OG “Big Bubble,” hereâ€s the next best thing. Nike helps kids prepare for the summer with the Nike Air Max 1 GS “Sport Red.”

The iconic and original “Sport Red” colorway returns to this Nike Air Max 1. We have a white mesh toebox, red mudguard, and grey panels on the midfoot and heel.

For those wondering, there are notable differences between this Air Max 1 and the Air Max 1 OG “Big Bubble” released earlier this year. For starters, the markings on the midsole housing the Air unit arenâ€t the same – the “Big Bubble” has a midsole closer to the original, while the latest remake uses the midsole from recent years. Aside from that, the colors used on the outsoles are different, with the OG model featuring red near the toe and the grade school silhouette sticking to the basic black and white.

The Nike Air Max 1 GS “Sport Red” releases on July 1st and can be purchased on the Nike SNKRS app and through select retailers.
