For the 30th anniversary of the iconic Air Max 90, Nike has unveiled a futuristic upgrade tothe beloved silhouette with the Air Max 2090, releasing this Spring 2020.
Debuting in a platinum, blue and red colorway, the Air Max 2090 boasts a larger Air unit than its 30-year-old predecessor, as well as an enlarged window. Red and blue accents on the front and posterior of the sneaker are meant to evoke the look of car headlights/taillights, while the various materials that compose the upper of the 2090 range from completely translucent to black and opaque, further emphasizing the futuristic aesthetic.
Arriving just in time for Air Max Day 2020, the Air Max 2090 is sure to be the first of many celebratory releases this March.
