The Swoosh has plans for the Air Max 97.
In celebration of the shoe’s 25th anniversary, Nike honors the silhouette by releasing classics like the “Silver Bullet” Air Max 97 and the “Atlantic Blue” Air Max 97 later this year. Additionally, new colorways of the Air Max 97 in its OG shape are set to join the festivities.
The latest Nike Air Max 97 OG perfectly fits with its late ’90s aesthetic as a metallic silver upper is paired with a range of blue hues on the Air unit, leather overlays, tongue details, and min-embroidered Swoosh on the medial & lateral panels.
A release date for the Nike Air Max 97 OG in metallic silver & chlorine blue has not been officially announced. However, we expect the pair to release for $170 on SNKRS and select retailers this summer. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
