Penny Hardaway’s first signature shoe has returned to the public eye to critical praise. Hardaway’s line was once only rivaled by His Airness himself, and an array of colorways and collabs from Social Status have jolted the Penny series back into prominence.
Similar to last years “Photon Dust,” the Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Pure Platinum” is a clean colorway that blends white and grey for a colorway that would be a perfect fit during his Magic days. The sneaker features a white leather base with soft terry on the tongue and sockliner. Grey accents surface on the heel tab, heel counter, and side panel above the unique mudguard. A white jewel Swoosh and semi-translucent white outsole complete the look.
The Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Pure Platinum” is expected to release in the coming months via Nike and select retailers. The retail price is set at $170.
