Love is in the air. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, Nike is unveiling its annual Valentine’s Day lineup, which includes a Nike Dunk Low, a Nike Dunk High 1985, and two colorways of Air Force 1, one adorned with heart-shaped cherries. Joining the collection is the Nike Air Trainer 1, which originally made its debut in 1987 on the feet of tennis icon John McEnroe.
The sneaker is evocative of a sweet Valentine’s treat with its aged white leather base and brown brushed suede overlays. A chocolaty shade of brown appears on the midfoot strap, while pink accents on the eyelets, Swoosh, heel and midfoot strap are the sugary sweet frosting on top. The Nike Air Trainer 1 “Valentine’s Day” drops on February 7 for $130 via Nike and select retailers.
