Nike AirMax 90 with Cork Insoles & Recycled Outsoles

Coinciding with Nike’s ongoing celebration of the AirMax 90’s 30th anniversary, the upcoming Nike AirMax 90 ‘Cork’ brings together classic and modern materials into one complete package.

Arriving in various shades of off-white, cream, and light bone, the AM 90 ‘Cork’ is suitable for any fan of a minimalist, high-quality sneaker. While suede paneling on the toe box and medial portions come in a darker hairy structure in comparison to the rest of the understated shoe’s construction, the most unique elements come in the form its soles.

The outsole is made up of a translucent blue rubber which is partially made up of recycled Nike Grind rubber and other excess materials, akin to the upcoming ‘Space Hippie‘ collection’s construction. resulting in a visually unique, sustainable addition to the classic sneakers. Finally, as its name suggests, the insole is made up of a soft cork material that naturally molds to your foot’s unique shape. “Just Do It” branding is applied in black ink across both insoles in a style similar to Tom Sachs’ signature packaging with the NikeCRAFT Mars Yards.
