Nike Continues to Test Bot Filter on SNKRS

This is custom heading element

An important bit of SNKRS related news. Nike has software in place for high heat releases (such as Travis AJ6) to scan their system for SNKRS accounts that do not qualify for the release. What those qualifications are is not clear to me yet but the gist of it seems to be that they look for accounts that are newly created, have no purchase history with Nike and no interactions.

With that said my advice is definitely to use only one Nike+ account and use it anytime you make a purchase with Nike. In-stores, outlets, online, etc…make sure they know you are spending directly with them.

On top of that I would also make sure to favourite releases, read notifications and interact with the SNKRS/Nike apps, leave comments etc. I imagine the system is scoring you somehow on how you interact with their content so it can’t hurt to show you’re a human who has taste preferences.

They ran this tech on the Travis drop and also on the Kyrie 5 release yesterday and it screwed over a lot of resellers who purchased blank SNKRS accounts to use for entries and slots
