Nike is celebrating & honoring the legacy of Jackie Robinson with an upcoming Dunk Low.
On April 15, 1947, Robinson broke the baseball color barrier when he started at first base for the then-Brooklyn Dodgers. To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the historic moment, the Nike Dunk Low “Jackie Robinson” commemorates the moment.
The pair is dressed in a blue, off-white, white, and black color combination for a Dodgers look. Details include Robinson’s “I’m not concerned with your liking or disliking me. All I ask is that you respect me as a human being” quote on the upper and insoles while a faded suede Swoosh, baseball-like laces, an embroidered Swoosh on the toe box, and a 75th anniversary patch on the tongue bring the colorway together.
The Nike Dunk Low “Jackie Robinson” is set to drop July 19 on SNKRS with a retail tag set at $130. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
