Nike is remixing the “Syracuse” Dunk Low by bringing cracked leather into the mix.
The aging treatment used is similar to that on the recently released Air Jordan 1 “Lost and Found”. Nike’s upcoming “Syracuse” Dunk Low utilizes darker shades of orange and gray along its midsole and upper compared to the latest release in 2020 (and restock in 2022) which consisted of a bright white and orange base. Their silhouette will also have an orange patterned, semi-translucent outsole and patina-treated overlays.
Nike originally debuted the “Syracuse” colorway in the brand’s “Be True To Your School” campaign from 1985, and the colorway has been retroed a handful of times since then.
An official release for the remixed “Syracuse” Dunk Low has not been set, but you can stay tuned for more details.
