Nike Celebrates Gigi’s Birthday With a Kobe 4 Protro

It has been three years since the unfortunate passing of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi. Though they may have left us too soon, Nike and Vanessa Bryant keep their legacy alive with the Nike Kobe line. With Gigiâ€s birthday on the way, Nike is celebrating the hooper with another colorway dedicated to the Mambacita. 

The upcoming Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Gigi” inverts last yearâ€s Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Mambacita,” which featured a black base with white accents.  This iteration features a stark white coloration throughout, with black accents detailing the look. Black-and-white plaid wraps around the glossy white heel counter with Gigi embroidered above it. Gigiâ€s #2 and Kobeâ€s logo appear gilded on the heel and tongue respectively. The Nike Kobe 4 “Gigi” is expected to release on Gigiâ€s birthday May 1, via Nike and select retailers. The retail price is set at $180.
