Florida A&M University has slowly built an impressive sneaker collection with Nike. Since becoming a LeBron James-sponsored university, FAMU has received its own Nike Dunk Low, snakeskin LeBron XX, and blacked-out LeBron 7, with the “Gorge Green” LeBron 7 on the way.
Pulling from the University’s rattlesnake, Nike gives the “Gorge Green” LeBron 7 its forest green suede upper with orange pillars in the Air unit covered in white speckles. Instead of using James’ LB23 logo near the medial heel, previously found on the black counterpart, there’s an orange rattlers logo and another patch of the university’s branding on the tongue. To accent the predominantly green sneaker, it has orange Flywire.
The LeBron 7 “FAMU Gorge Green” will retail later this year for $200.
