In the early 2000s, Nike SB was untouchable. The SB run was monumental, no matter the box era you deem as the most impactful.
In 2004 and 2008, Nike SB cooked up a “Homer” and “Marge”-inspired SB Dunk iterations. The ’04 “Homer” Dunk Low and ’08 “Marge” Dunk High were embodiments of the characters and their outfits, personified in SB form. Nearly two decades after the first Simpsons-inspired SB, another colorway is in the works with the “Bart Simpson” colorway surfacing.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “Bart Simpson” is built with a yellow leather base, red-orange suede overlays with the laces & tongue tag dipped in the same hue, a blue lining and outsole, and the shoe’s leather Swoosh, midsole, & Nike lettering arriving in white. Much like the other Simpsons predecessors, the “Bart” colorway portrays the Simpsons character perfectly.
A release date for the Nike SB Dunk Low “Bart Simpson” has not been announced. However, we expect the colorway to release on SNKRS and select Nike SB retailers in the upcoming months.
