Nike Sportswear Recycled Canvas Pack Releasing August 20th

Nike has unveiled its latest collection of sustainably manufactured products with its upcoming Nike Sportswear Recycled Canvas pack. Dropping August 20th, the full collection includes reinterpretations of several Nike classics including the Air Max 90, Air Max 95, Nike Daybreak-Type, Nike Cortez, and two colorways of the Air Force 1 ’07.

As its name suggests, each shoe in the collection has had its traditional leather and/or mesh uppers replaced with recycled canvas material crafted from textile waste from Nike factories. Even minute details are manufactured with sustainable practices in mind with all Flyleather accents composed out of at least 50% recycled laces, foam tongues, and leather fibers. Finally, the Cortez and Daybreak-Type are each outfitted with Crater foam midsoles made from a ground-up blend of various Nike foams ensuring no piece of reusable material goes to waste.
