Nike to Pay Tribute to Centre Popmpidou with AM1 Release

We mentioned this to everyone last week on Twitter but today we follow up with some more information and a look at the shoes.

Nike is paying tribute to the building that inspired Tinker Hatfield’s design of the Air Max 1: The Centre Pompidou in Paris with two special colourways this September. Both colourways will release this September (date TBD) with a possiblity of being moved to October. None the less, this sneaker is coming.

One of the shoes is predominately white with colourful accents pulled from the Popidou building itself and and the other a grey/steel look with metallic details.

Both shoes should retail for $190 to $200 CAD at retail and be available at a variety of stockists.
