The Nike ZoomX Streakfly is Engineered for Shorter Race Distances

Nike Runnung continues to push the envelope on performance and innovation. With the recent success of its explosive ZoomX cushion seen across the VaporFly NEXT%, the AlphaFly NEXT%, and the AlphaFly NEXT% Nature, the Swoosh has created another ZoomX-infused pair, built for shorter race distances.

The all-new Nike ZoomX StreakFly features the signature ZoomX cushioning in tandem with a Pebax midfoot plate and a light & breathable mesh upper for ultimate performance. Whether logging in training miles or aiming to set PRs on a 5K or 10K, the Nike ZoomX StreakFly is the perfect companion.

“We learned there was a bit of a gap in our racing line between what we offered for the full and half marathon, and what we offered for competition on the track,” said Elliott Heath, Nike Running’s footwear product manager. “To better serve athletes who race and train on the roads for the 10k and 5k, we set out to develop a shoe that would still offer them a comfortable, lightweight, propulsive ride with more connection to the ground.”

The Nike ZoomX StreakFly releases in February at Nike.com and select retailers for $160. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
