This weeks release on October 18 is EXCLUSIVE to Nike and Off-White. There will NOT be any releases anywhere else as of the writing of this guide. The worldwide release at all retailers will happen on Nov. 10. We have not confirmed this Nov. 10 release date yet but will do our best to lock it in in the coming weeks.
This means Nike.ca and Off-White Toronto and Vancouver are your ONLY options for purchasing them in Canada on Oct. 18.

This release will be harder than most because Nike has broken it up into two parts. Because the only options worldwide are Nike or Off-White there will be more attention on these sites than ever before.
The stock for this Off-White 97 is currently higher than the recent Blazer Mids and triple that of the Off-White Presto. Nike has clearly made an effort to increase stock on this years Off-White releases. The demand of course has only grown for these so even when stock is considered “good” for a special release like this it’s still not enough.
Nike’s instance to release these shoes in two phases signifies that they have big plans for the inventory worldwide. If I had to bet now I would expect this to be the biggest Off-White x Nike release ever once the worldwide release is done as well.

Nike HQ has confirmed this release will happen online in Canada. The release will happen at 11AM EST on October 18 with a couple hundred pairs of stock. This is good but it ultimately wont matter for the demand the site will see.
This release will likely take at least an hour to sell out due to the slow release of stock. Please read this article about Nike.ca releases if you have yet to do so.
Nike has advised us that mobile will not work for releases but I’ve seen reports from members saying they have gotten lucky with a lot of persistence.
Either way, do not expect this to go smoothly. The site has proven itself not capable of working properly for high heat release such as this one.

The Off-White stores in Vancouver and Toronto are generally slow to do releases on time but I expect this one to be different because of the exclusive date set by Nike and OW.

Nike SNKRS in the US will release the shoes. The release method and date is currently unknown. At the latest the shoes will release via 10 minute draw on SNKRS at 10AM EST on October 18.
There is a possibility that SNKRS releases them as a shock drop at any point leading up to the official date. It could be a normal surprise release like this summers Prestos or it could be a scratch/SNKRS cam like Off-White Serenas. Anything is possible.
