Converse and Pokémon are teaming up on a series of silhouettes to celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary.
In addition to apparel and accessories, the upcoming Pokémon x Converse Chuck Taylor collection is headlined by the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star “First Partners” colorway that is built with a black canvas upper decorated and includes Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Meowth, and Jigglypuff. In addition, a “Poké Ball” colorway featuring a white upper with an all-over black and white graphics of “First Partners” mentioned above and includes Poké Ball ankle patches on the lateral sides. The “Poké Ball” colorway will release in adult and little kids’ sizing. Lastly, the collection includes Chuck Taylor All-Star Easy-On for toddlers releasing in a pink Jigglypuff colorway and yellow Pikachu makeup.
The Pokémon x Converse Chuck Taylor collection releases on January 7 on Converse.com and select retailers. A price point range for the collection has not been announced.
