The PUMA MB.02 “Jade” Celebrates the Lunar New Year

PUMA and LaMelo Ballâ€s PUMA MB.02 has picked up right where the PUMA MB.01 left off. The dynamic sneaker is full of callouts to LaMeloâ€s history and personality. The PUMA MB.02 isnâ€t all about personal reverence, however. To honor the Lunar New Year, the PUMA MB.02 is getting a “Jade” makeover. Jade is worn around the Lunar New Year for good luck, making it the perfect theme for the sneaker. 

The sneakerâ€s mostly mesh upper is dressed in teal with marbleized jade graphics printed throughout the sneaker giving it a stony vibe. Hints of gold foil appear on the tongue, eyelets, medial side, and heel branding. The thematic treatment is completed by the water-styled midsole representative of 2023, the year of water. The PUMA MB.02 “Jade” releases on February 3 via PUMA.com and select retailers for $150.
