Puma Stewie 1 “Four Time” Celebrates Breanna Stewart’s College Career

March Madness is about to induce its nationwide craze once again, and Puma is taking the opportunity to celebrate one of the GOATS of college basketball.

Breanna Stewart’s signature sneaker, the Stewie 1, is getting a new “Four Time” colorway to commemorate her record-breaking four consecutive NCAA Championships. The white sneaker with blue wraparound heel and red branding channels the colors of Stewart’s alma matter, the University of Connecticut. Details paying tribute to her accomplishments are tucked inside, as the left inner tongue has each of the years Stewart won a college title. On the right side, “4X” is printed along with an illustration of a hand flashing four fingers.

The Stewie 1, which debuted last year, made Stewart the first WNBA player with her own signature sneaker since Candace Parker’s third model was released in 2012. Its nitrogen foam-infused midsole provides high responsiveness while keeping weight low, and engineered mesh on the upper keeps the foot locked in.

Look for the Stewie 1 “Four Time” to release March 17 through Puma’s various channels and select other stockists for $125. And for all your sneaker news basketball or otherwise, download the DROPS by SoleSavy app.
