Upcoming Reebok Answer IV “Tunnel” Inspired by AI’s Finals Fit

When it comes to off-court and on-court influence, there’s no denying the role that Allen Iverson and Reebok played in the’90s and early 2000s. Of course, we all know the importance of MJ. And sure, a handful of others definitely had their moments — but Allen Iverson shifted the culture in ways we hadn’t seen since, well, Jordan.

In 2001, Allen Iverson and the Philadelphia 76ers played David in the 2001 NBA Finals against the Goliath that were the Los Angeles Lakers, led by Shaq and Kobe. Though the 76ers were only able to steal Game 1 (and blemishing what would’ve been the Lakers perfect playoff/finals record), Iverson, of course, gave us memorable moments for years to come.

Heading into Game 1, AI showed love to the city of brotherly love by rocking a custom Eagles jersey with a Reebok durag that donned his I3 logo. The Vector logo brand is utilizing the Answer IV, the shoe worn by AI in the 2000-2001 season, to bring back the tunnel fit.

The Reebok Answer IV “The Tunnel” features a white leather base upper with the Eagles-inspired pearlized green overlays. The upcoming colorway also includes branded “I3” lining and “Only the Strong Survive” tattoo-inspired liner.

The Reebok Answer IV “The Tunnel” releases on January 21 for $150 on Reebok.com and select retailers. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
