It’s all love in the city of brotherly love.
Reebok continues to celebrate Allen Iverson and the Reebok Question as the inseparable pair are legends in their own right. But the Vector logo brand is celebrating another 76ers legend with a new take on the Question.
The upcoming Reebok Question draws inspiration from the one and only Julius Erving, a.k.a. Dr. J. The colorway arrives two decades after AI wore a tribute jersey to Dr. J in the 2002 All-Star Game by swapping his signature 3 for Dr. J’s 6. Now, the latest Question looks to do the same.
The Reebok Question “Dr. J” is built with a white leather base and accompanied by its signature mesh tongue. The pair keeps it clean with subtle red and gold accents that mirror AI’s home jersey 20 years ago. The 3 on the heel is swapped for a 6, further commemorating the 76ers legend. Finally, the shoe features a new graphic on the insole that animates Iverson’s iconic 1999 SLAM “Soul on Ice” cover, where the guard paid homage to Dr. J with his ‘fro and throwback threads.
A release date for the Reebok Question “Dr. J” has not been announced. However, the pair is expected to release in February for $160 on Reebok.com and select retailers. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
