Almost a year after it’s original pre-order debut the Yeezy Boost 700 aka Wave Runner makes its debut in Canada.

adidas has been increasing it’s stock with each Yeezy restock and this Wave Runner release is no different. While the initial worldwide offering was very limited due to pre-order production, adidas is now gearing up for a full scale release at high production numbers.

Demand for this shoe is mixed. While many people want them, the high $400 CAD + tax price tag is making it tough to purchase. This will also scare away many resellers who run the risk of holding on to high cost product with minimal return on their “investment”. This release is similar to the Yeezy 500 Black.

Stock in Canada is very good. We are expecting adidas.ca to have over 1,500 pairs online and for the boutiques that release them online via Shopify to also have over 2,000 pairs available combined. I would personally not enter any EU raffles for this shoe unless shipping to the US or if shipping to Canada means the odds of paying $0 duties is very good.

adidas.ca will release the Yeezy 700 online at www.adidas.ca/yeezy “before 9AM EST”. The official time is listed as 8:30AM EST but they have told us the queue/stock will not go live at 8:30AM EST but is guaranteed to be available before 9AM EST. The release will happen via the standard wait room queue like all previous Yeezy release. As stated above we expect adidas.ca to have stock north of 1,500 pairs.

The Yeezy Supply release does not have a set time yet but expect it to happen at 8:30AM EST or before. Yeezy Supply is shopify based so you can try doing a pre-cart but it may reset on their site. Either way, be ready with autofill for shipping and your credit card.

Shipping to the US is $20, to Canada it’s $35 and you will have to pay duties at delivery. You can expect duties to be at least $60 and as much as $120 if you ship to Canada. That means at best you would pay $500 CAD and at worst $560 CAD if you purchase from Yeezy Supply.

We don’t recommend this option if you are shipping to Canada.

Aside from SSENSE, every other Canadian site releasing the Wave Runners online is Shopify based. It is CRUCIAL that you perform a pre-cart on every one of those Shopify websites (Livestock, Haven, NRML). Doing so will greatly increase your chances of checking out quicker and succeeding.

If you are new to the pre-cart please practice before release and be careful to not accidentally purchase a product.

If you are a Tier Zero member, do the pre-cart before hand and then at release you can click one of the add to cart links in the monitor for an even quicker check out!

I would focus your attention on the boutiques (Livestock, Haven, NRML) first and then go to adidas.ca if they sell out. The adidas queue will not start right away so you have time to try at a boutique first.

While some of you may prefer to go in-store to purchase, we don’t see any reason why you should line up more than an hour or two before store opening. You should absolutely not need to line up overnight. There is not enough demand for this to be a release that requires you to wait in long lines.

We recommend trying to purchase at 8:30AM EST online first. If you strike out online, you can then go line up at your preferred store in time for opening.

adidas stores in Canada will sell the shoes FCFS after 1PM local time. The stock will be based on pairs that are not picked up by customers who reserved them previously on the app.

Below you will find links to other raffles happening worldwide that will either release online or offer shipped based raffles to the US and Canada.

Tips for the Below Releases

  • SVD and END require an account to enter raffles
  • The END raffle is very expensive, we don’t recommend it.
  • Hanon is Shopify based so if they decide to do no raffle make sure to follow our pre-cart guide for a quicker check out. Also sue the monitors in Slack for direct to cart links. Make sure to login to your Hanon account before hand!
  • Hanon ships to Canada with low duties or none at all
  • Please be aware the price on some worldwide release can exceed $500 CAD shipped to Canada.
  • We do not recommend entering any raffles below except the ones that charge $300 USD.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
