Converse is going hard with the collaborations this year. After having already revealed a slew of upcoming Spring/Summer 2021 collabs, designer extraordinaire Rick Owens surprised audiences worldwide earlier today with a Converse Chuck Taylor collab. Dubbed the TURBODRK Chuck 70, Rick Owens DRKSHDW diffusion line reinterprets the shoe into a chunkier, more experimental creation. A square-shaped toe box with a small opening at the tip is the most obvious addition. Elsewhere, we can see the shoe has been given an extended tongue with Converse and Rick Owens DRKSHDW co-branding, and the middle and posterior portion of the midsole get segmented and rearranged for a further twist.
