New York Knicks star RJ Barrett is soaring into stardom. The 4th year guard just recently signed a long-term extension with the team and is dropping limited edition kicks as a part of the PUMA Hoops squad.
Barrett gets personal on his Fusion Nitro colorway with details nodding to his home and history. The shoe’s unique colorway features one red sneaker as an ode to the Canadian flag, and the other features blue as an homage to the Duke Blue Devils, where RJ spent his college career.
Even the tongue is packed with details, the front bearing RJ’s #9 and a maple leaf, while the backside reads “Maple Mamba” in honor of his nickname. The sockliner features Barrett’s personal “made different” mantra as the completing touch.
