Washington Wizards’ Rui Hachimura has another fantastic PE colorway of the Air Jordan 35 in the works. Dubbed the “Hinamatsuri” colorway, the shoe’s makeup is inspired by the Japanese national holiday of the same name. Held on the 3rd of March each year, Hinamatsuri (“Doll’s Day or “Girl’s Day” in Japanese) is a centuries-old national holiday reminiscent of International Women’s Day and involves the displaying of ornate porcelain dolls across tiered, red-carpeted platforms as part of the celebrations. As a result, Hachimura’s latest PE sees the AJ 35 done in a bright red, mesh underlayer with orange/red suede overlays added throughout. Golden kanji embroidery and embossed floral patterns across the panelling add to the commemorative AJ35’s colorful construction. Stay tuned to SoleSavy in case this PE sees a wider, retail release.
