Rumour: Air Jordan 3 “Fire Red Denim” With Translucent Heel Out August 1st, Only 76,000 Pairs

A special Air Jordan 3 Retro is slated to arrive on August 1st. The AJ 3 Retro ‘Fire Red Denim” is rumored to be limited to only 76,000 pairs and dons some unique design elements not yet combined together on any previous AJ 3 model.

Done in the classic “Fire Red” colorway with its white, pebbled leather, the “Elephant” print paneling across the heel, lace stays, and mudguards are now done in denim as opposed to leather. This change IN materials means the AJ 3 will become distressed in a way unique to each wearer’s lifestyles and amount of wear. Further material changes can be found on the heel tab, which is now done in a translucent rubber with an embossed Jumpman logo and “AIR”  branding. Underneath this see-through material is a classic “Fire Red” Nike logo and Swoosh, thus combining both heritage logos into one heel tab. Matching red detailing can be found on the leather ankle collar and the embroidered Jumpman logo on the tongue. All these additions sit atop a standard, white AJ 3 midsole with black detailing.
