If there are two things that anyone into sneakers can agree on is that 2020 has truly been the year of the Nike Dunk and Air Jordan 1. This trend shows no signs of slowing down in 2021 with the rumors of an upcoming Supreme x Air Jordan 1 collaboration on the way based the NY streetwear icon’s 2003 Nike SB Dunk High collab.
From the mockups pictured below from @DropsByJay, the shoes will take the construction of a regular Air Jordan 1 High OG but swap regular leather paneling for the faux-crocodile skin leather that adorned the ’03 Dunk High collab. Three colorways are rumored to arrive in the same UNC Blue, Varsity Red, and Syracuse Orange as the Dunk Highs. These shades will be used throughout all the textured, leather overlays and Swooshes while the toebox and side paneling continue to use a normal white leather with golden star graphics applied to the latter.
