SeriousPlayerOnly Launches New Game1 Basketball Sneakers

SeriousPlayerOnly is a new Chinese footwear brand making waves amongst hoopers. The brand credits Nike Kobe sneakers as inspiration and launched when Kobes were nearly impossible to get, filling a void for those who yearned to play in the late Mamba’s kicks. Since then, Nike and the Bryant family have relaunched their partnership, and SPO has been busy creating an all-new design. The new Game1 still takes inspiration from Kobe’s iconic Nike line but separates itself more aesthetically compared to the Player1 design.

The Game1 does stick to the core design element of the Player1 and Kobe inspo by utilizing a drop-in midsole. SPO has taken performance improvements to a new level by taking feedback from consumers and product reviewers, like our friends at Wear Testers. The Game1 features double-layered cushioning with a Quick drop-in midsole and full-length EVA cushion plate. Additional midsoles will be available to customize the shoe’s performance to your needs. Other design highlights include a breathable TPEE+TPU mesh knitted upper, carbon fiber plate, TPU heel counter, and all-terrain outsole.
