Social Status continues its collaborative run.
After last year’s “Free Lunch” Dunk capsule, the boutique has a handful of hardwood classics ups its sleeves. In addition to a set of Social Status x Nike Air Max Penny 1 colorways, Social Status is also delivering a series of Air Penny 2s.
Inspired by Li’l Penny, voiced by Chris Rock and starred alongside Penny himself during the legendary commercial run in the ’90s, the Social Status x Nike Air Penny 2 collection sports Orlando Magic vibes on both versions and is packed in a toy box with Li’l Penny branding, bringing the shoe’s inspiration to life.
A release date for the Social Status x Nike Air Penny 2 collection has not been announced. However, we expect the pairs to release on SocialStatusPGH.com, Social Status locations, and potentially on SNKRS. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
