SoleSavy Weekly Selects – Oct 11, 2020

Our weekly running list of sneakers that can be purchased for retail or less!

Jordan Zoom ’92 Paris Saint-Germain

The Jordan 4 was the star of the show, but the Zoom 92 is just as good (some of us on the team actually prefer it over the 4s themselves). The Zoom 92 is quietly becoming one of our favorite silhouettes of 2020. The Union collaboration has put some much-needed attention on the model, but this PSG version is the best colorway yet.

Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid – Sashiko

Nike continues to knock it out of the park with blazers. Premium materials? Check. Zoom unit? Check. Sashiko details? Check. Should we keep going? This is one of the most popular blazer renditions yet and for good reason. Luckily, some stores still have some sizes sitting around. Don’t sleep on this one!

New Balance 992 – Black

There’s not much that can be said about the 992 that hasn’t been already. One of New Balance’s most successful models this year thanks to some shoe of the year candidates from JJJJound and WTAPS. This colorway is Fall / Winter ready and is a great addition to the rest of your rotation.

Nike ISPA Drifter Gator

Nike’s ISPA Team continues to push the boundaries of technology and innovation. The Drifter Gator is designed to be ready against all elements, featuring a water-resistant upper along with a hip pack on the heel that conceals a waterproof gator lean into ISPA’s function over form mentality.

Nike Goretex Air Force 1 – Olive

Continuing with being ready for the elements, the Goretex Air Force 1 is one of our favourite variations of the classic Nike model. This new colorway dons the perfect shades of olive and sits atop a sail midsole. There’s no better combo for the fall.

Reebok Beatnik – Utility Green

The resurgence of being cozy and casual has fast-tracked the success of the Reebok Beatnik. Being one of the best sandals out now, it’s a worthy addition to anyone’s rotation. You can wear them as house shoes, or better yet, a great way to give your favourite beater a rest day. The corduroy upper adds a welcome touch of sophistication, and it goes so well with the rugged-looking soles.
