American auction house Sotheby’s has entered the sneaker game. Earlier today Sotheby’s opened an online store dedicated to the sale of rare sneakers and footwear related memorabilia. Rather than go for an auction format, these shoes all have a ready-to-buy price – ranging from $500 to $50,000+. Included in the continuously growing product list are 1 of 5 Tinker Hatfield autographed Air Max 1 “Air MAx Day”, Nike Executive briefcases gifted by founder Bill Bowerman, and autographed pairs of Michael Jordan’s gameworn Jordans.
