2022 is going to be the year of the Air Force 1. The Swoosh has a lot in store for the silhouette’s 40th anniversary as collaborations and head-turning general releases are lined up for the new year.
Stüssy and Nike are back at it again on the Air Force 1. Though the Mid cut will be the canvas for the upcoming collaboration, the Stüssy x Nike Air Force 1 Mid is still an upcoming release worth noting. The black and white iteration of the AF1 Mid features Stüssy branding on the heel, the velcro straps, the tongue label, and even on the toebox with the “S” logo perforated, replacing the shoe’s signature holes.
In addition to the white and black colorway, an all-black version of the Stüssy x Nike Air Force 1 Mid is set to release although the colorway has yet to be confirmed.
The Stüssy x Nike Air Force 1 Mid releases on May 13 on Stussy.com and select in-store via raffles at Stüssy chapter stores. A wider release has not been announced. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
