Supreme Sold By Carlyle Group + Goode Partners, Acquired By VF Corp

Supreme is going to be under new ownership once again. Supreme’s founder James Jebbia originally sold the company to two private equity firms, the Carlyle Group and Goode Partners, back in 2016. The two firms have now sold their stakes in the company to VF Corporations in a deal valued at around $2.1 billion. James Jebbia VF Corp is no stranger to working with brands on this scale, with the company’s roots dating as far back as 1899 and with a roster of brands under its umbrella such as Timberland and The North Face. VF Corp is also in talks to acquire Reebok from adidas.
