The A Ma Maniére x AJ5 Retro “Black Collective” Drops July 25th

A Ma Maniére continues its seasonal narrative with the debut of Act II: The Reclamation, the second chapter in its Every Summer Tells a Story campaign.

AMM is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 5 with their latest collaborative project- The Air Jordan 5 “Black Collective”.

The footwear is accompanied by a limited apparel offering of elevated essentials, including coordinating tees, hoodies, and shorts that mirror the collectionâ€s refined aesthetic. Both the laces on the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 Retro “Black Collective” and the apparel capsule feature cotton sourced from Seed2Shirtâ€s BLACKollective©. As the first Black-owned, vertically integrated apparel supply chain in the United States, Seed2Shirt works directly with Black cotton farmers, ginners, and manufacturers to reclaim agency and restore value in a system historically built on Black labor. Their presence in this collection marks an intentional shift—infusing each piece with deeper meaning and material truth. It ties product to process, grounding the capsule in authenticity and furthering The Reclamationâ€s message of dignity, ownership, and legacy from soil to stitch.

The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 Retro “Black Collective” is crafted in premium white leather and features pre-yellowed quarter panel netting, an embroidered “23” on the lateral heel, and a reflective tongue with the Jumpman on the right and A Ma Maniéreâ€s “A” logo on the left. A quilted Violet Ore lining evokes regality and is echoed throughout the midsole, outsole, and custom box. The pair includes two lace options in cream and black, both crafted from cotton that carries forward the deeper story behind the collection.

Joining the “Black Collective” 5 is a re-release Every Summer Tells a Story capsule that arrived last month. Raffle entries for the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 Retro “Black Collective”, A Ma Maniére x NIKE Air Force 1 “White on White”, and the A Ma Maniére x NIKE Air Max 95 “Diffused Taupe/Phantom” open Friday, July 11 at 11:00 AM EST and close Monday, July 21 at 3:00 PM EST.

The full collection officially launches on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM EST exclusively on amamaniere.com, and at 12:00 PM local time at all A Ma Maniére retail locations.
