The second colorway of the AE2 is hitting us with a bit of a burst.
After officially launching earlier this month, Anthony Edward’s second signature sneaker is introducing a new colorway. Dubbed the ‘Blue Burst’ this new colorway continues the story of a player defined by intensity, confidence, and evolution. ‘Blue Burst’ represents the next chapter in Ant’s journey a nod to the city that shaped his game and the mindset that made him one of basketball’s most electric young stars.
The AE2 combines LIGHTBOOST x Lightstrike techonilogy combining rim and core construction with adidas’ leading cushioning platforms, offering superior comfort, responsiveness, and long-lasting freshness on and off the court. The sneaker’s propulsion plate provides support and energy return for quicker takeoffs and effortless elevation , all the while articulated fangs make sure players are locked and loaded on every explosive cut, drive and step.
The ‘Blue Burst’ colorway builds on Edwards’ ongoing partnership with adidas Basketball, reflecting his drive to push limits and inspire the next generation. According to Edwards and adidas this colorway is for “the city that turned Ant Man into a wolf.”
The ‘Blue Burst’ Anthony Edwards 2 releases on October 25th in full family sizing.
