The AJ4 “Shimmer” is the Perfect Grail Alternative

Thereâ€s been some mixed opinions on the womenâ€s Air Jordan IV “Shimmer” colorway that was released this weekend, but donâ€t be fooled – this sold out quickly and is a great sneaker to have on rotation. Some have minimized this to an accessible alternative to last yearâ€s Off/White “Sail” release but that doesnâ€t do this sneaker justice. Itâ€s a good shoe on its own, and while it shares some similarities to the OW4, it is also reminiscent of the “Hender Scheme” IVs from years ago.

I wouldnâ€t be surprised to see this pair find its way onto Instagram moodboards, a pattern weâ€ve seen with past womenâ€s releases that have flown under the radar. Donâ€t rush to cop on the aftermarket though, this is a sneaker that is likely to restock in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on our monitors to ensure you donâ€t miss out.
