The next SoleSavy sneaker project….

We officially kicked off our first meeting for an upcoming SoleSavy sneaker project today. Weâ€ve contracted two former designers that worked for Jordan and Nike for 10+ years to design a brand new sneaker for SoleSavy from the ground up. Im talking new sole, new uppers, everything. No Nike anything.

Iâ€m incredibly excited to bring something new to the market in sneakers and Iâ€m confident they will design something amazing that signifies who we are as a community and what footwear means to us.

The goal for this project is to put out a shoe for $250 USD or less with the same quality and craftsmanship as the SS1 and SS2. The reason those were so expensive is the base cost of the Nike shoe and the labor required to dismantle them for production. Eliminate that and we can cut the cost in half.

Weâ€re still early on in this project but the plan is to have a first sample ready in 3 months. During that 3 months we will show sketches, get feedback and be transparent about the design process along the way. Right now the team wants to work discreetly for a few weeks until we have something tangible to show…until then STAY TUNED!
