In celebration of the show’s 30th anniversary this year, Vans has teamed up with the legacy animated series The Simpsons for a commemorative footwear and apparel collection The full collection drops later this week and will feature various models of Vans sneakers and matching apparel full of various references to scenes and characters from throughout the show’s history.
Some pieces are dedicated to individual characters like Lisa with her purple Sk8 Hi and matching long-sleeve tee or Bart’s “El Barto” rebellious alter-ego. Other parts of the collection refer to specific episodes like season 4’s Mr. Plow referencing Sk8 His which is colored exactly like Homer’s namesake jacket of the episode. There’s even a pair of light brown/pink slides decorated to like Homer’s donut flavor of choice. Matching backpacks, graphic tees, and socks will drop alongside the For a show with one of the best examples of sneaker flexing in an animated series, this collection is every Simpsons fan’s dream come true. The Simpsons x Vans collection releases August 7th through vans.com and select retailers.
