The UNDFTD 4 is slated to return in late August
Initially expected earlier in the summer, it is believed the global tariffs situation has pushed back the release to late August. Though the date has not officially been confirmed by UNDFTD, the believed release date for the sneaker is August 28th.
The 2025 retro will see a material change
Rather than the ballistic nylon found in the 2005 version, the same material used in military bomber jackets, the 2025 return is expected to feature olive green nubuck. The same nubuck material that was on the sample that surfaced in 2016.
Prepare for a very difficult drop
After a slower 2024, Jordan Brand has realigned their allocation projections and adjusted production numbers accordingly.
Compound that with the fact this sneaker is among the most sought after Jordan collaborations of all time, it is fair to expect this launch to be a very difficult endeavor for sneakerheads.

Yes, for real this time.
Since originally releasing in 2005, the UNDFTD 4 has been a topic of discussion. It remains among the most coveted of sneaker grails- even at a time when that phrase has become diluted.
Originally inspired by the ever iconic MA-1 bomber jackets, the 2005 release of the UNDFTD 4 was limited to 72 pairs. At a time where boutique collaborations were at a drastically smaller scale than they are today- UNDFTD made a lot of noise. In fact, it was that very shoe that was Jordan Brand’s first dive into a collaboration with a sneaker boutique. In essence, this collaboration was the stepping stone to some of the most popular sneakers of today.
Of course, the return of the UNDFTD Air Jordan 4 has only added to the lore of the sneaker. Year after year, the internet swirls with rumors of the coveted shoe making a return. This time, the rumors are true. The UNDFTD Air Jordan 4 is slated to return this summer ahead of the sneaker’s 20th anniversary.

No official release date has been confirmed by UNDFTD, but the UNDFTD Air Jordan 4 is expected to return this upcoming June. There are rumors of a second colorway also being introduced- and releasing along this iconic sneaker. Both pairs are expected to retail for $225. A matching bomber jacket is expected to release alongside sneakers.
