South-Korean streetwear label thisisneverthat has consistently grown in popularity since bursting on the scene back in 2010. Now set to drop their first collaboration with New Balance later this month, the brand is set to become even more popular. The thisisneverthat x New Balance 2002R will arrive in two colorways on September 21st. Available in either dark grey/brown or white/vintage yellow, the understated collab matches perfectly with both brand’s aesthetics. thisisneverthat branding replaces the traditional New Balance logos found on the standard 2002R. Plush, perforated mesh underlays serve as each shoe’s base while shaggy suede and fine-grain leather adorn the overlays for an added sense of luxury. If you opt for the white pair, you’ll also get the added vintage-styled, aged midsole that has become so popular in 2020.
