Concepts are taking their colorful design aesthetic to New Balance this August with their own take on the popular New Balance 327 model. The Concepts x New Balance 327 “Cape” is inspired by the cranberry bogs of Cape Cod, Massachusettes, and Vodka Cranberry cocktails. Shown below surrounded by water and cranberries, the Concepts NB 327 is replete with bright red tones and hits of baby blue and neon green for some extra flair.
The upper’s overlays are done in red suede while side paneling consists of lighter shades of red nylon material. The oversized New Balance “N” logos appear coated in a translucent layer that shines well in Concepts’ preview photos below. The exaggerated, treaded outsole is done in semi-translucent baby blue, matching with the mesh sock liner and the middle portion of the tongue. A plain white midsole is elevated by a streak of neon green in the heel portion, while a purple, co-branded “NB” and “Concepts” tongue tag and matching insole complete the look. The Concepts x NB 327 releases Agust 7th through Concepts followed by a wider release at other retailers on August 13th.
