adidas Hoops has another Kobe Bryant classic returning this year.
In addition to the upcoming release of the adidas Crazy 1 “Storm Trooper” and the adidas Crazy 97 EQT, the Three Stripes is going into its vault one more time this spring.
The adidas Crazy 1, named the Kobe 1 while Bryant was with the brand, was worn by the Los Angeles Lakers guard during the 2000-2001 season. The silhouette was inspired by the design language of the Audi TT Roadster, combining elegance with performance. The “Sunshine” colorway is arguable the most memorable in the Kobe 1 catalog as the pair was worn by Bryant in the legendary 2001 All-Star Game.
The “Sunshine” colorway, although the silhouette is renamed, returns soon. The upcoming adidas Crazy 1 “Sunshine” features the shoe’s signature molded upper with grip on the half-shell toe and a heel spoiler. The shoe contains a black inner bootie injected with an EVA midsole and a Torsion system for lockdown support and optimal comfort. And of course, the golden yellow hue drapes the silhouette.
A release date for the adidas Crazy 1 “Sunshine” has been set for October 22 via adidas and select retailers. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
