After a successful collection of Gore-Tex Air Jordan 1s, Jordan Brand is weatherproofing the Air Jordan 5 next. The upcoming sneaker features a construction similar to the classic ‘Metallic’ colorway albeit with red shark teeth graphics on the midsole instead of silver. The TPU cage and outsole get a vintage look with their pre-aged coloring.
The standard ‘23’ embroidered on the heel is joined by Gore-Tex branding. 3M reflective silver detailing completes the look. A release date for the women’s Air Jordan 5 Gore-Tex has yet to be announced but look for it to be released via Nike and select retailers. The retail price tag has been set at $220.
