The “Cool Grey” Colorway Arrives on the Air Jordan 6

The “Cool Grey” colorway is a staple within the Air Jordan line, thanks to Michael Jordanâ€s run with the Washington Wizards. Following 2020â€s return of the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” iteration, the brand is reapplying the color scheme but with a new silhouette. The Air Jordan 6 is one of the most storied sneakers in the legacy of Michael Jordan. The sneaker was released in 1991 and marked the sneaker he won his first championship in, en route to his first three-peat.

For the first time ever, the Jordan 6 will join the ranks of the legendary Cool Grey club among the icons like the Air Jordan 3 and of course, the Air Jordan 11. The upcoming sneaker features a grey suede base with white, tumbled leather overlays mimicking the colorblocking of the classic “Carmine” colorway. A darker shade of grey accents TPU plastic portions on the tongue, lace lock, and heel tab. The Jordan 6â€s signature icy outsole completes the look.

The Air Jordan 6 “Cool Grey” is set to release on April 19 for $200 via Nike and select retailers.
