As teased via JoeFreshgoods’ twitter this morning, the Chicago-based designer/brand is set to release another collaboration with New Balance next year. Teased with only the words “JUNE 2021” and an image of a brown New Balance sample shoebox this news is sure to excite many as the two brands’ 992 collab from the beginning of the year was among the most coveted drops of 2020. That collaboration can easily be looked at as the start of this year’s runaway success of the 992 silhouette, resulting in several colorway retros and high-profile collabs with the likes of WTAPS and JJJJound.
